Next to reading, scrapbooking is a favorite hobby of mine. I started scrapbooking over nine years ago, but never completed a whole album until I retired from teaching the following year. I especially enjoy scrapping with friends. We can talk while we work and share our ideas and pictures with each other.

Since I no longer need to do bulletin boards, I use my creativity to create layouts and borders to showcase my pictures. My grandkids especially enjoy looking at our family pictures in the completed albums. Someday I hope the albums will become family heirlooms, passed down to future generations to tell the stories of our lives in pictures. You know they say, "One picture is worth a thousand words." If that's true, I'm a millionaire of memories!

How about you? Any other scrapbookers out there?

I used to be a Creative Memories Consultant. I love to scrapbook, although I haven't done a lot in the last several years. I have lots of albums. Love it! Wish we could scrap together.

I used to scrapbook as a child and teenager and loved it. I also kept a scrapbook for each of my daughters. Unfortunately, other things have taken priorities now, but I still have fond memories of scrapbooking. I understand that today, it has become an art.
